<h2>Job Description</h2><div><div>Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International? </div><div>We are looking for a talented Preventive Maintenance Junior Manager to oversee asset reliability and maintenance operations at the Portland Bakery. In this role, you will be responsible for managing asset risks, optimizing operational efficiency, and leading a team to ensure continuous and dependable production performance. </div><div>Key Responsibilities </div><div>People and Labor Management: </div><div><ul><li>Make decisions and deliver on overall Safety, Quality, and Line Efficiency for assigned lines or areas including remote support as needed. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Enable, manage and be participant of the Daily Meeting System for maintenance. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Develop, monitor, and execute plans through the maintenance &amp; repair cell, building their skills and providing training when applicable. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Lead daily maintenance meetings and drive accountability for performance. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support for recruitment of mechanics and oversees the interviews and offers to mechanics. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Act as the primary liaison for union-related issues, fostering strong labor relations. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Build capabilities and train new Preventive Maintenance (PM) line lead. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Co-Lead tooling &amp; workshop management. Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance in both.  </li></ul></div><div>Asset Reliability: </div><div><ul><li>Oversee the lubrication program and ensure proper execution. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Collaboration with Reliability engineer and ensure Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), Time-Based Maintenance (TBM) development, Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) management, and execution support. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Budget control and initial maintenance cost improvements </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Working on low-cost improvements project to manage Maintenance Cost. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Lead Preventive Maintenance (PM) agenda in Small Group Activities (SGA) on the critical line equipment and work with autonomous team in developing standards (CIL’s, CL’s, PM’s) subject matter experts (Bosch, R.A. Jones, etc.). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Enable and facilitate Progressive Maintenance (PM) to Autonomous Maintenance (AM) transfer. </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Lead capability agenda, developing skill matrix, lead trainings for trades technicians and operators on top skill gap. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Lead breakdown / root cause analysis and actions implementations to improve the lines performance, to increase Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and reducing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Prioritize, plan, and execute all found abnormalities including safety and quality action items. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Mentor Team Leads as needed. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support and ensure vertical startups, ensuring all assigned lines are production ready. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Productivity and Process Improvements: </div><div><ul><li>Work with the Core Centric Team to develop and execute projects based online losses for each assigned line or area. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Work with stockroom and investigate part(s) information to reduce obsolete parts in stock room and improve inventory accuracy. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Research and implement best practices across multiple production lines. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Develop and maintain centerlines to ensure consistent equipment performance. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Optimize Shop-Logix data to identify and recover from General Efficiency (GE) losses. </li></ul></div><div>Labor &amp; Scheduling: </div><div><ul><li>Create the shutdown schedules and scopes of work for PM activity windows and shutdown weekends. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Coordinate weekend shift layouts based on plant needs and resource availability. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Develop and prioritize maintenance activities on assigned lines and assign names for the tasks, and efficiently execute.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Coverage for Team Leads during the week and weekend as needed. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support the effort to manage and organize workload in SAP, continually keeping the SAP system clean and assigning the work to the proper revisions. </li></ul></div><div>Job specific requirements:  </div><div>This is an exciting opportunity to shape your career and drive your future forward. The ideal candidate will bring the following experience and expertise: </div></div><div><div> </div><div><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in leading a maintenance team or similar role is preferred.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of experience as a Maintenance lead in manufacturing environment is required. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proven experience in project management and operational leadership </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Computer proficiency (MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) and Scheduling systems (Kronos). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong communication and decision-making skills </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships. </li></ul></div></div>More about this role<div><div>Education / Certifications: </div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.  </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Work schedule:  </div><div><ul><li>Monday-Friday 7am-3pm with ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>May be required to work different shifts in addition to being on call for consultation during other shifts. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Salary range: </div></div><div><div><ul><li>The base salary range for this position is $87,000 - $103,400. The exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
