We’re scaling fast and investing in smarter, more efficient manufacturing to keep quality high and costs low. <h2>What You’re Applying For</h2> We’re looking for an Industrial/Mechanical Engineer to design, scale, and continuously improve the next generation of Easyplant’s manufacturing lines. You’ll turn product intent into robust, repeatable processes with suppliers and production partners—driving quality up, COGS down, and launches that run smoothly the first time. <h2>Your Mission</h2> Turn bold Easyplant product visions into world‑class, scalable manufacturing that delivers flawless quality, lower cost, and continuous improvement. <h2>What You’ll Do</h2> <ul> <li>Own the Easyplant manufacturing flow end-to-end across global partners: onboard new sites, keep daily execution tight, build trusted factory relationships, and travel up to 40% to keep lines running smoothly.</li> <li>Cultivate strong, long‑term relationships with manufacturing partners and key suppliers to align priorities, accelerate problem‑solving, and unlock joint improvements.</li> <li>Improve quality by setting clear supplier standards, preventing common mistakes, and fixing issues quickly—from first signal to verified fix.</li> <li>Build and improve the tools: design and make jigs, fixtures, gauges, and simple test rigs; introduce light automation where it clearly pays off.</li> <li>Launch new products and categories from lab/prototype to pilot and stable production—standing up lines, managing first builds, and smoothing the ramp.</li> <li>Turn data into action and lower COGS: set clear plans, track yield/defects/cycle time in simple dashboards, drive design and process tweaks, and partner with Engineering, Product, and Supply Chain to balance speed, cost, and customer experience.</li> </ul> <h2>What You Bring</h2> <ul> <li>An engineer by training - BS/BSc in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).</li> <li>Quality-strong - 5+ years in manufacturing QA/QC or complex manufacturing development.</li> <li>Factory-fluent - solid grasp of industrial quality, supplier management, and hard-goods manufacturing methods.</li> <li>An end-to-end owner - you plan it, run it, and land it with tight execution.</li> <li>Self-driven and remote-savvy — you move work forward without heavy oversight.</li> <li>Analytical and practical - you use data to decide, then go see and fix.</li> <li>Comfortable with 3D CAD - SolidWorks/Onshape/Fusion is a plus.</li> <li>Plant-curious - interest in indoor plant care is a real advantage.</li> <li>Travel-ready - comfortable being on-site up to ~30% (mostly U.S., some international).</li> </ul> If you like solving real manufacturing problems and seeing the results in the product, we’d love to meet you. </div> </div> </div>
