With Azure and Microsoft’s ever growing server capacity needs, the Microsoft Capacity Infrastructure Service (CIS) Platform Team aims to provide a worldclass platform and service to provide automation, orchestration, and in-depth metrics to facilitate Microsoft’s server capacity needs. The Runtime and Packaging team under the Microsoft CIS Platform Team is hiring experienced engineers to join a diverse engineering team that interfaces with 100s of service teams and partners across Microsoft. As a Senior Software Engineer in the Microsoft CIS Platform Team you will help develop a platform to automate hardware and devices provisioning/de-provisioning functions, datacenter operations, business processes, all through microservices, and deliver data analytics end to end. This will enable Microsoft services to manage capacity in a consistent, efficient, and secure way. This opportunity will allow you to work with teams across Azure and Microsoft, hone your engineering skills working on large-scale distributed systems, and contribute to the fastest growing cloud platform on the market. The Runtime team is responsible for providing a highly scalable workflow execution engine, robust workflow authoring and software development kit (SDK) experience, and tools and automation to facilitate testing and rollout of workflows across the Platform.
