We’re looking for a Principal Electrical Design Engineer Lead who’s passionate about driving innovation in memory product tester equipment and interface/load board design. This is a high-impact leadership role where your technical expertise and strategic vision will directly influence the future of our technology.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead a team of electrical engineers enthusiastic about crafting groundbreaking semiconductor tester equipment and interface/load boards.</li><li>Architect high-performance analog circuits, power supplies, and FPGA-based solutions.</li><li>Conduct design reviews and ensure alignment with project goals and quality standards.</li><li>Translate system requirements into PCB design specifications and develop analog circuits, including system and POL power supplies.</li><li>Lead FPGA design using HDL and coordinate component selection and schematic development.</li><li>Partner with PCB designers to create layouts and validate assemblies through debugging and verification.</li><li>Drive support throughout the product lifecycle—from prototype deployment and customer qualification to post-release design enhancements and issue resolution.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.</li><li>5+ years of experience in hardware/PCB design, with leadership in engineering team management.</li><li>Proficient in Siemens Xpedition or similar EDA tools and circuit simulation platforms like LTspice or PSpice.</li><li>Strong understanding of PCB layout, signal integrity (SI), and power integrity (PI).</li><li>Skilled in using lab equipment and applying electronics theory to practical design challenges.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with FPGA/ASIC design using HDL languages (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog).</li><li>Familiarity with FPGA/ASIC development tools such as Vivado or Quartus.</li><li>Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, JTAG, PCIe) and scripting languages like Python for test automation.</li></ul><ul></ul>The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$159,000.00 - $324,000.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
