This three-month internship includes safety and fab software training, along with hands-on experience in a specific process area.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform equipment-related tasks to improve availability, including tool tracking, qualification tests, and automation troubleshooting.</li><li>Manage product priorities and lot holds by preparing tools and processes, updating lot comments, and coordinating with engineering.</li><li>Address process issues by investigating out-of-spec qualifications, executing special work requests, and supporting new process qualifications.</li><li>Complete all required safety training, participate in safety audits, and contribute to safety improvement initiatives.</li><li>Assist in updating documentation and best-known methods (BKMs).</li><li>Support R&amp;D engineering by performing technical tests, setting up equipment, and analyzing data.</li><li>Train and mentor new team members as needed.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Currently pursuing an Associate’s (e.g., SMT, Mechatronics, STEM related) or Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Business Operations, Math, Physics, Chemistry).</li><li>Willing to relocate to Boise, Idaho for the internship and post-graduation employment if offered.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).</li><li>Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and follow procedures.</li><li>Capable of standing up to 10 hours per shift, walking 1–5 miles, and performing tasks in confined spaces or while crouching/kneeling.</li><li>Comfortable wearing cleanroom garments and occasional PPE.</li><li>Willing to alternate between Remote Operations Center (80%) and in-FAB (20%) environments.</li></ul>Internship Details:<ul><li>Duration: 12-week onsite paid internship</li><li>Location: Boise, Idaho or Manassas, VA</li><li>Relocation support and housing subsidy provided</li><li>Travel costs covered</li><li>Shift: 12-hour shifts</li></ul>Start Dates (Summer 2026):<ul><li>May 11 – July 31</li><li>May 18 – August 7</li><li>June 1 – August 21</li><li>June 8 – August 28</li></ul>As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
