First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

We’re hiring a Head of Market Development, North America, to lead our go-to-market (GTM) strategy in one of our most critical growth regions. This is a highly cross-functional leadership role where you’ll orchestrate strategy, planning, and execution across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and RevOps to unlock scale in the US and Canada.

You’ll play a central role in shaping how we expand across mid-market and enterprise segments—identifying priority cities, top accounts, and new commercial opportunities—while ensuring alignment across teams. The impact? Directly enabling Mews to become a $250M business in North America over the next 3 years.

✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Market development strategy: 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive country-specific strategy, inclusive of identifying key submarkets, segments, and high-potential opportunities 
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to shape go-to-market plans 
  • Partner with sales, marketing, BD, CS, and product leadership to refine regional strategies & playbooks 
  • Coordinate with RevOps, departmental leads, & strategic finance on P&L setting – targets, headcount, budget 

Cross-Functional orchestration: 

  • Own cross-functional operating cadences, including regional all-hands, leadership councils, pipeline reviews, and performance reviews 
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and BD to design and execute localized campaigns, events, and initiatives to drive pipeline 
  • Provide feedback to the product team on local market needs, helping to uncover product gaps and inform future development. 
  • Collaborate with customer success and operations to ensure seamless customer experiences, and high customer referencibility 

Market engagement: 

  • Act as an ambassador of Mews in the market, building strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, partners, and customers. 
  • Represent Mews at industry events, conferences, and meetings to elevate the company’s profile. 

Performance Monitoring: 

  • Working in partnership with revops, regularly track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations 
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize strategies for efficiency and impact 
  • Identify and close gaps in operations that block attainment of commercial, marketing, and CS targets 

đŸ€ïž You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

  • 8+ years in GTM strategy, business operations, or general management—preferably in SaaS, fintech, or consulting

  • Experience owning regional or country-level planning with multi-functional teams

  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence at senior levels

  • Deep strategic thinking with an analytical mindset—you can spot patterns, set priorities, and make high-impact trade-offs

  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder engagement—youre confident leading from the front and navigating ambiguity

  • Experience working in or with commercial teams (Sales, CS, RevOps); bonus if you’ve helped scale a US GTM function

This role is based in either the East Coast or Central time zone and will require 25% travel, but will work remotely.

The referenced salary range is based on Mews good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, and skill level as determined during the interview process.

Commissions are in addition to the advertised salary range and are determined based on employee performance.
