<div>As a Business Development Representative at Meridianlink, you will fuel our pipeline generation by qualifying pre-pipeline opportunities for the MeridianLink sales team. The BDR is the first point of contact and will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads in both and outbound and inbound function. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for determining new business opportunities, and can rapidly qualify, convert, and assign those opportunities.</div><div><br /></div><div>This is a great opportunity to gain an education in FinTech and accelerate your sales career!</div><h3>RESPONSIBILITIES:</h3><ul><li>Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop contacts to create sales-ready leads and opportunities</li><li>Research accounts, identify key roles, and generate interest through cold discovery calls and email campaigns</li><li>Create relationships with potential customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability</li><li>Present product information to customers once you have identified their needs</li><li>Set up meetings between prospective clients and Account Executives</li><li>Work closely with the sales team to drive continuous improvement in lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline generation to strategically create opportunities within identified accounts</li><li>Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives</li><li>Meet and exceed daily metrics that involve calls, emails, and social interactions •Use and maintain the tech stack which includes <a href="http://Salesforce.com">Salesforce.com</a>, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo</li></ul><h3>QUALIFICATIONS:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree</li><li>2-4 years’ experience as a business development representative, sales account executive, or similar role in software or technology industry</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong phone skills, which includes gaining rapport and overcoming objections</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Organization and time management</li><li>Resilience and determination</li><li>A desire to learn and grow in FinTech</li><li>High workplace efficiency</li><li>Skilled presenter and communicator</li><li>Self-motivated and driven by success, strong work ethic and integrity</li></ul><div>MeridianLink has a wonderful culture where people value the work they do and appreciate each other for their contributions.
