Join us for a career in sales that changes lives. A Day in the Life The Surgical Account Manager will be responsible for driving surgeon demand across the full Surgical COT portfolio, including Stapling, Energy, Suture, Electrosurgery, Situate, and Access &amp; Instrumentation. This role focuses on developing and executing strategic sales plans, identifying practice trends, and cultivating key customer relationships to drive market growth and adoption. The ideal candidate will work closely with clinical and administrative stakeholders to expand business opportunities, execute business reviews, and contribute to regional and national conversion efforts. Territory: Chicago West - Aurora, Elgin, Elmhurst, Dekalb, Geneva, and HinsdaleJob Responsibilities: <ul><li>Serve as the main point of contact across MDT account teams, including District Managers (DM), Sales Area Directors (SAD), Sales Operations Specialists (SOS), and teams specializing in GYN and Hernia portfolios. </li><li>Lead the creation and execution of account-level contractual strategies. </li><li>Optimize contracts and drive category expansion across Surgical. </li><li>Own and execute quarterly Customer Business Reviews to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities. </li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with key economic and clinical stakeholders. </li><li>Drive adoption and utilization of all Surgical Center of Technology (COT) products, including: <ul><li>Stapling </li><li>Energy </li><li>Wound Closure </li><li>Electrosurgery </li><li>Situate </li><li>Access &amp; Instrumentation (A&amp;I) </li></ul></li><li>Cultivate and strengthen relationships with field distribution partners. </li><li>Maximize partnership programs and leverage account intelligence to increase market share. </li></ul>Key Performance Metrics: <ul><li>Achieve/exceed disposable quota (strategic &amp; core). </li><li>Achieve/exceed hardware quota. </li><li>Expand contract categories. </li><li>Improve opportunity management and forecasting accuracy. </li></ul>Must Have: Minimum Requirements <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree </li></ul><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of sales experience </li></ul><ul><li>Field-based role that requires 50% travel within the territory </li></ul>Nice to Have <ul><li>Proven track record in sales within the medical device or healthcare industry, preferably in the surgical or related fields. </li><li>Strong understanding of clinical environments and the ability to communicate complex product information to diverse stakeholders. </li><li>Experience in building and managing key customer relationships with decision-makers in both clinical and administrative roles. </li><li>Ability to analyze business trends and use insights to develop actionable strategies. </li><li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. </li><li>Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., SF.com) and Microsoft Office Suite. </li></ul>Physical Job Requirements The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
