The majority of time is spent overseeing their area of responsibility, managing performance, forecasting quarterly outcome, talent development, diversity and inclusion, communication business and operational developments, planning, prioritizing and / or directing the responsibilities of the direct reports. Goal achievement is typically accomplished through performance of direct and / or indirect reports, but may involve direct sales participation as appropriate.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: <ul><li>Plan, direct, and monitor the activities of a sales team within a defined region, district, or geography to achieve established sales targets.</li><li>Develop and implement business strategies for existing and potential accounts.</li><li>Regular forecast revenue performance of team, including an accurate capital funnel. </li><li>Manage the day-to-day activities of the sales team to execute the organization’s overall sales strategy for the assigned region or district.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key account personnel and relevant internal functions to support sales, market development, service efforts, and clinical programs.</li><li>Identify opportunities and develop new programs to support the organization’s sales plans and increase market penetration and market share.</li><li>Assess the need for new selling programs and processes, conduct competitive analyses, and implement effective strategies.</li></ul>Required knowledge and experience <ul><li>At least 3 years of experience in people and sales management within the medical device industry</li><li>Availability to travel for approximately 50% of working time</li><li>Experience in sales of capital equipment, capital sales cycle and stakeholder mapping</li><li>Fluency in both German and English</li><li>Familiar with consensus-driven approach and trust-based business culture</li></ul>#LI-FlexPhysical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. <h1>Benefits &amp; Compensation</h1>Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
