You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.<h1>A Day in the Life</h1>The Senior Area Innovation Manager or AIM is a field-based Medtronic Endoscopy (GI) sales position. The individual will call on MSO/IDN headquarters, Hospitals, Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASC), physician offices, and will support their assigned geographic area.  The AIM aligns with internal and external stakeholders to execute and accelerate meaningful outcomes for strategic organizational initiatives and will serve as a customer facing product expert.  This position will  primarily  focus on protecting and expanding the utilization of Medtronic artificial intelligence through the GI Genius platform by executing market development and sales-oriented activities. Individuals will be expected to transfer knowledge and best practices to accelerate this technologys adoption to the greater sales force. Additionally, the individual will be expected to develop solutions to a broad range of issues at the account level requiring a high degree of cross-functional interactions and leadership capability, with only high-level guidance. We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid drivers license is essential for this role.This role covers multiple states and is ideally based in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Boise, ID or Sacramento, CA. This role involves significant travel (75%) including overnights.Position Responsibilities:BUSINESS EXCELLENCE <ul><li>Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas by driving product adoption through the delivery of clinical and economic value of Medtronic AI platforms </li><li>Expertise in artificial intelligence trends including but limited to market positioning of GI Genius and macroeconomic factors that influence decision making in AI in healthcare.  </li><li>Thorough understanding of the current and future AI competitive landscape, including non-AI technology designed to improve patient outcomes. Ability to position Medtronic AI platforms as the market leader. </li><li>Have a well-documented record of accomplishment of successfully targeting, converting, and installing new GI Genius Accounts at enterprise level MSO/IDN headquarters, Hospitals and ASC’s.  </li><li>Further defines the direction for new products (primarily but not limited to GI Genius), processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy with a significant impact on work group results. Excellence in Medtronic GI portfolio integration into GI Genius sales processes and documented sales achievement. </li></ul><ul><li>Represents organization as a primary contact for specific projects and initiatives. Ability to identify and leverage internal and external customers and vendors at various levels.
