Job Description

MedTrainer is looking for a highly skilled Director of Data that will be responsible for overseeing data management, integrity, and analysis across MedTrainers systems, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial and operational data. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise systems, particularly NetSuite (ERP) and Salesforce (CRM), and the ability to translate high-level direction into actionable data strategies. The Director of Data will lead a data analyst and provide insights and recommendations to executives on data management best practices.

This is a remote position based in Mexico. We are only considering candidates who currently reside in Mexico and are legally authorized to work in the country.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with Salesforce (CRM)
Proven experience in a common ERP, preferably NetSuite
Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
Experience with billing systems, procurement tools, and related platforms.
Strong foundation in data management principles, governance, and best practices.
Demonstrated leadership and experience managing data analysts or data teams.
Ability to convert high-level direction into actionable data management plans.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and executive presentation abilities.
Bachelors degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in a relevant field.
Experience in software and subscription businesses
Fluency in English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain data integrity across NetSuite (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), and other enterprise platforms.
Develop and implement data visualization tools (Looker, Power BI, or similar) and supporting infrastructure, including data warehousing solutions.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency of customer billing data and processes in NetSuite.
Oversee, mentor, and review the work of a Data Analyst, ensuring quality and alignment with business needs.
Translate high-level direction from the CFO into actionable data strategies and projects.
Provide expert recommendations to executives on data management, system optimization, and process improvement.
Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess data needs and design effective solutions.
Analyze data trends to support key business decisions.
Manage data integrations across multiple systems, including NetSuite, Salesforce, billing platforms, and procurement tools.
