This individual contributor role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with pricing contractual agreements and delivering actionable insights to key business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in pricing strategy, analytics, and stakeholder engagement within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.Key Responsibilities:Pricing Operations<ul><li>Conduct weekly and monthly customer performance audits to ensure compliance with pricing agreements.</li><li>Collaborate with Pricing Strategic Accounts, Deal Pricing, Professional Advisory &amp; Services, and Financial Systems teams to align pricing strategies with customer needs and profitability goals.</li><li>Perform economic research and item-level reviews, sharing insights with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Provide ad-hoc reporting and serve as a key contact for internal pricing inquiries, occasionally engaging directly with customers.</li><li>Monitor pricing trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to generate forecasts and identify financial risks and opportunities.</li><li>Lead initiatives to improve pricing efficiency and accuracy through process improvements and technology enhancements.</li><li>Assist in the development of dashboards and analytics that provide performance insights and support strategic decision-making.</li></ul>Coaching and Mentoring<ul><li>Promote a culture of continuous learning by identifying training opportunities aligned with individual and team goals.</li><li>Guide team members through complex pricing scenarios and economic research methodologies to enhance problem-solving skills.</li><li>Support professional development by helping team members set and achieve growth objectives.</li><li>Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and knowledge sharing.</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration &amp; Stakeholder Management<ul><li>Partner with Sales, FP&amp;A, Distribution Operations, and other internal teams to develop integrated pricing solutions.</li><li>Ensure alignment of pricing initiatives with finance, sales, and supply chain strategies.</li><li>Collaborate with BI/Analytics teams to build dashboards that inform pricing decisions.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with the sales team to understand market dynamics and address customer concerns.</li><li>Support contract execution by working with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.</li><li>Assist in resolving contractual issues in coordination with legal and compliance stakeholders.</li></ul><div></div>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.</li><li>7+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with a focus on pricing strategy.</li></ul><div></div>Critical Skills<ul><li>Deep understanding of retail pharmacy segment and drug pricing dynamics, including regulatory and reimbursement environments.</li><li>Proven ability to develop and implement pricing strategies that drive business growth.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and handling large datasets.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a talent for influencing stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li></ul><div></div>Preferred Technical Skills<ul><li>Power BI (including DAX and Power Query)</li><li>SQL</li><li>Experience with dashboard development and data visualization tools</li></ul>Salary:100,100.00 - 133,400.00 - 166,800.00 USD Annual 15% MIP(Target 130K with 15% MIP)P4<div></div>We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
