As a Safety Consultant, you will be responsible for assessing workplace safety protocols, conducting safety audits, and providing recommendations to improve safety standards. You will collaborate with clients to develop safety programs and ensure compliance with regulations.Our future colleague. We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:<ul><li>Expertise in delivering comprehensive safety consultation and training for clients, conducting on-site inspections, assisting with DOT compliance, and developing tailored safety programs to enhance client operations</li><li>Knowledge of transportation safety regulations and best practices, to include hazardous materials handling, compliance, and risk assessment to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations</li><li>Strong ability to prepare activity reports, communicate updates to the production team, and execute proposals for safety services to drive client value and support departmental revenue goals</li><li>Proficient in collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement customized service strategies for clients, building strong relationships, advising on safety proposals, ensuring timely execution, and enhancing the service experience through effective communication</li><li>Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, combined with exceptional presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas and engage audience</li></ul>These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:<ul><li>2+ years of experience in safety-related roles, demonstrating a solid foundation in best practices and compliance</li><li>Risk control experience specific to fleet, transportation and DOT regulations</li><li>BS/BA in Occupational Safety, Industrial Technology, or a closely related field</li><li>ARM, CSS, or CDS designations, or other related professional designation</li></ul>We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
