This integrated network will service multi-channels like B2B, B2C, B2B2C, e-commerce, direct to store, dropship, returns, and more, leveraging asset-based, asset-light, and non-asset models.<div><div>Job Summary:  The Dispatcher Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of dispatchers and drivers, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of daily transportation operations. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of logistics, and comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations. The Dispatcher Supervisor serves as a key liaison between customers, drivers, and management, driving operational excellence, financial health, and high customer satisfaction. </div><div> </div><div>Responsibilities: </div><div><ul><li>Supervise and lead a team of dispatchers and drivers, fostering accountability, communication, and performance excellence. </li><li>Schedule and monitor driver assignments to ensure efficient routing, balanced workloads, and compliance with all customer delivery and pick-up requirements. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all National and State DOT laws and regulations; provide reminders and ongoing training to drivers regarding safety and compliance. </li><li>Maintain a minimum of 99.5% on-time performance by proactively identifying and resolving traffic, routing, or operational issues. </li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact between drivers, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely updates. </li><li>Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness. </li><li>Review and analyze operational performance metrics; recommend and implement improvements for efficiency, cost savings, and service quality. </li><li>Respond to emergencies or urgent situations following company safety and accident protocols. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, routes, performance issues, complaints, and corrective actions. </li><li>Ensure equitable distribution of work among drivers and uphold high morale across the team. </li><li>Support financial accountability by monitoring department costs, productivity, and profitability across customer accounts. </li><li>Train, coach, and evaluate dispatch staff, promoting professional growth and continuous improvement. </li><li>Prepare and review dispatch documentation and reports for management. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Skills &amp; Competencies: </div></div><div><div><ul><li>Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold a team accountable. </li><li>Strong understanding of logistics operations, freight management, and route optimization. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA compliance, and safety standards. </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management abilities; able to prioritize in a high-pressure environment. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service focus</li><li>Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to interpret operational and financial data. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dispatch/logistics software. </li><li>Ability to adapt quickly and make effective decisions in urgent or changing situations. </li></ul></div><div>Education &amp; Experience: </div><div><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. </li><li>3–5 years of dispatching, transportation, or logistics experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. </li><li>Experience in freight operations and customer/vendor communications strongly preferred. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements: </div><div><ul><li>Professional office setting with frequent use of phone and computer systems. </li><li>Occasional walking, standing, bending, or lifting may be required. </li><li>Must be able to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively. </li><li>Full-time, on-site position with occasional remote flexibility depending on operational needs. </li></ul></div><div>Schedule:Monday - Friday 8am-6pm after training.Training with be Monday-Friday 6am - 4pm Pay: $66,000 - $70000</div></div>Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
