Our extensive experience, connections, and deep expertise across different sectors, industries, and transportation modes, means we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.  Essential Functions<ul><li>Support People Partners in managing HR processes including any new colleague on-boarding and paperwork, promotions/transfers/terminations, compliance, reporting, performance appraisals, compensation reviews and employee relations as needed.</li><li>Assist with submission of necessary forms for updating payroll system (ADP) and HRIS system (Workday) for Hybrid teams and/or teams not in HRIS system (new hires/promotions/transfers/terminations etc.)</li><li>Own maintenance of I-9 files; Audit and guide how to complete and verify I-9 documentation. Manage E-Verify access.</li><li>Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.</li><li>Oversees conversion process for temp to hire associates, works closely with agency partners, monitors performance and coordinates with leaders.</li><li>Initiate new and renewal immigration and/or relocation tasks into the APRO system.</li><li>Guide employees to find answers to questions about HR policies, procedures, etc.</li><li>Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.</li><li>Perform special projects and run ad hoc reports as assigned.</li><li>Research various HR topics through professional resources such as the Conference Board, the Employers Association, SHRM, etc.</li><li>Cascade key announcements and general HR communications for teams and/or offices.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li><li>Performs job related duties as specified by management.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Bilingual: English and Spanish</li><li>Bachelors degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience highly preferred.</li><li>At least two years related experience required.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, advanced features of Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.</li><li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.</li><li>Must ensure confidentiality of HR department information.</li></ul>Key Competencies<ul><li>Comprehension of HR policies and processes</li><li>Communication</li><li>Flexibility</li><li>Time Management</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive data.</li></ul>Job Type: Full TimeThis role requires to be On-Site 5 days per week and may provide remote support to other sites within the region.Company Benefits:     <ul><li>Medical</li><li>Dental</li><li>Vision</li><li>401k + Company Match </li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Flexible Work Schedules (when possible)</li><li>And more!</li></ul> Salary: $26 - $28 hourly*      *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position.
