Our team is at the heart of what we do and our success starts with you!</div><div><br /></div><div><b>About the Role:</b></div><div>Madison Logic is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join the Finance Department at Madison Logic. This individual will own the day-to-day accounting operations at Madison Logic, consisting of both routine and non-routine duties with an emphasis on general ledger management, account analysis and reconciliation, accounts payable, journal entry, month end close as well as special projects.</div><div><br /></div><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Support the monthly close process, including   journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements; including reviewing junior accountants work</li><li>Maintain the fixed asset subledger and coordinate with corporate IT on additions and disposals</li><li>Analyze internal and external labor for   software capitalization, and maintain software amortization schedule</li><li>Perform balance sheet and income statement flux analyses</li><li>Oversee the accounts payable process ensuring the accuracy of vendor invoices, G/L coding, and investigation of any discrepancies</li><li>Facilitate weekly wire and ACH vendor payments   while adhering to corporate payment guidelines</li><li>Managing and overseeing the filing of regular   tax returns, including federal, state income tax, VAT, GST and other local taxes</li><li>Review bank account reconciliations and assist   in preparation of weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts</li><li>Analyze general ledger for accruals and maintain accrual schedule</li><li>Maintain and analyze rent and insurance schedules</li><li>Gather information and prepare schedules and documentation to support the audit and tax return preparation</li><li>Assist in special projects which may involve assisting with interdepartmental initiatives and ad hoc reports</li><li>Prepare sales tax calculations and return filings</li><li>Keep abreast of and apply GAAP, accounting guidance, and relative company policies, practices, and procedures</li></ul><h3>Basic Qualifications:</h3><ul><li><b>On-site working at the ML physical office, 5-days per week is required through the end of probation (6 months), transitioning to 2-day WFH post-probation</b></li><li>Ability to work US Hours</li><li>B.S. degree in Accounting</li><li>5+ years of related work experience</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications with a focus on Excel</li></ul><h3>Other Characteristics:</h3><ul><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects, and manage resources</li><li>Solutions oriented with a strong business acumen</li><li>Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across all business departments</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information</li><li>Understanding and working knowledge of US tax compliance and regulations</li><li>Understanding and working knowledge of TDS, GSTR_1 &amp; GSTR_3B and other statutory compliances</li><li>Indian GAAP &amp; Ind AS with specific reference to the difference between that and US GAAP</li><li>General understanding and ability to interpret global tax; with a focus on US &amp; India</li><li>Knowledge of India Payroll/calculations an advantage</li></ul><h3>India Specific Benefits:</h3><ul><li>5 LPA Medical Coverage</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Provident Fund Contributions</li><li>Learning &amp; Development Stipend (Over-And-Above CTC)</li><li>Wellness Stipend (Over-And-Above CTC)</li><li>Transportation available for female team-members with shifts starting or ending between the hours of 9:30pm and 7:00am</li><li>Welcoming in-office environment (located within AWFIS co-working space, Amanora Mall)</li><li><b>Team members are encouraged to work collaboratively with an emphasis on results, not on hierarchy or titles. </b></li></ul><div><span><b>Work Environment: </b></span></div><div><b>We offer a mix of in-office and hybrid working.
