Our Audit team develops end-to-end AI system services for automated case selection and review for complex audits. Machinify Audit creates autonomous selections by learning the language of medical coding through the development and training of LLM’s.The ideal candidate has a range of skills across backend services and tools, technical leadership and people leadership. You get excited by developing performant platforms and web applications for delivering customer impact. Lets connect!What You’ll Do:<ul><li>Lead the development and production releases of robust, observable and intuitive solutions and workflows for healthcare Audit product lines.</li><li>Manage and grow a team of 5-6 developers who own the backend services for Machinify’s Audit product.</li><li>Develop plans and track production features for on-time quality releases.</li><li>Understand with data what slows your team down, and develop phased plans to reduce pain points and increase velocity.</li><li>Own projects aligned with our product development strategy</li><li>Influence the direction of the underlying platform to ensure it is extensible, scalable, and secure</li><li>Measure impact through metrics</li><li>Collaborate with team and external stakeholders such as Product Managers, Backend and Frontend Engineers, UX team, &amp; our customers</li></ul>What Youll Bring:<ul><li>3+ years of combined technical leadership and engineering management experience</li><li>8+ years of production application development, backend services experience, and developing APIs/micro-services at scale.</li><li>Experience hiring, growing careers and managing performance for engineering teams and leads</li><li>Experience working along side data science or ML engineering teams</li><li>Experience leading cross functionally with product managers, other engineering teams, UI team, and customer account representatives.</li><li>Strong orientation towards building and utilizing lightweight mechanisms, including running retrospectives, operations reviews, and backlog scrubs.</li><li>Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Python, Rust, Rails, Java, Go)</li><li>BS or MS in Computer science (or equivalent experience)</li><li>Bonus points for experience thoughtfully integrating AI into user experiences or workflows</li><li>Comfortable with ambiguity and taking the initiative</li><li>Excitement to make an impact in rewiring US healthcare!</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Work from anywhere in the US! We are hiring for different levels, and our Recruiting team will let you know if you qualify for a different role/range.
