We build high-performance ML and AI products that are transforming the landscape of healthcare.What You’ll Do: <ul><li>Contribute to backend server development to keep our system extensible, scalable, and secure</li><li>Work with other teams to understand how our systems must change to support future customer-focused deliverables</li><li>Design and implement complex frameworks for applying machine learning techniques to large data volumes</li><li>Deliver reliable and good-performing software</li></ul>What You Bring: <ul><li>8+ years of strong experience in backend-focused platform software development</li><li>Skilled in reading the source for complex software systems, understanding them, and improving them</li><li>Critical thinking and problem-solving skills</li><li>Comfort when navigating ambiguity</li><li>Joy when learning new things</li><li>A drive to write high-quality software</li></ul>The ideal candidate will have a selection of these technical skills as well:<ul><li>Working experience with Java, Scala, and the JVM</li><li>Additional experience developing Spark layer or big data processing workflows a plus</li><li>Working experience with SQL</li><li>Experience in Rust and Python as a bonus</li><li>A strong CS foundation in data structures and asynchronous programming</li><li>BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Work from anywhere in the US!
