Our capabilities include digital transformation, software development, cloud migration, applications &amp; infrastructure, cybersecurity, data delivery &amp; analytics, and IT talent solutions.</p> <p> </p></div><p>M9 Solutions is seeking a <strong>Data Engineer </strong>to work remotely in support of a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC.  </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and design data pipelines to support end-to-end solutions.</li> <li>Build systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information for multiple purposes, including, but not limited to, IT application usage, reporting, applicant processing, etc.</li> <li>Develop and design data pipelines to support an end-to-end solution.</li> <li>Develop and maintain artifacts, i.e., schemas, data dictionaries, and transforms related to ETL processes.</li> <li>Integrate data pipelines with AWS cloud services to extract meaningful insights.</li> <li>Manage production data within multiple datasets, ensuring fault tolerance and redundancy.</li> <li>Design and develop robust and functional dataflows to support raw data and expected data.</li> <li>Collaborate with the rest of the data engineering team to design and launch new features. Includes coordination and documentation of dataflows, capabilities, etc. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree.</li> <li>4 - 8 years of relevant experience.</li> <li>Experience executing data science methods using Python libraries for Data Cleaning/Wrangling, Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), Statistical Analysis, and Data Visualization.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in programming languages, such as Python.</li> <li>Agile development experience along with related technologies (e.g., Jira).</li> <li>Skills including: <ul> <li>Amazon Web Services (AWS)</li> <li>Database Administration</li> <li>Data Engineering</li> <li>ETL Architecture and Development</li> <li>End-to-End Processes</li> <li>API Development</li> <li>Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL)</li> <li>Data Pipeline</li> <li>Technical Support</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Database administration and development experience.</li> <li>Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.</li> <li>Keen interest in learning and using the latest software tools, methods, and technologies to solve real-world problem sets vital to national security.</li> </ul> <p> </p><div><div><div><p></p> <p><strong>Full-Time Employee Compensation</strong></p> <ul> <li>M9 Solutions’ pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
