In this role, you will assist in planning and conducting audits and investigations across a wide range of operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Analysts may specialize in accounting analysis or data analysis to support compliance, fraud prevention, and operational improvement initiatives.What You’ll Do<ul><li>Perform data analysis, audits, and investigations related to the Company’s Compliance and Fraud &amp; Ethics functions.</li><li>Review automotive sales deal jackets for compliance accuracy.</li><li>Present findings to management, recommend corrective actions, and monitor progress.</li><li>Research state and manufacturer guidelines to support store personnel with compliance questions.</li><li>Execute select quarter-end SOX controls.</li><li>Contribute to special projects related to compliance, fraud, ethics, accounting, and reporting.</li><li>Support acquisition and divestiture activities, including flexible hours or travel as needed.</li><li>Develop training materials and desktop procedures for the team.</li></ul>Accounting Focus:<ul><li>Build knowledge in US GAAP and automotive accounting practices.</li><li>Evaluate whether accounting practices align with GAAP.</li><li>Identify and recommend process improvements in accounting policies and procedures.</li></ul>Data Focus:<ul><li>Create Power BI reports for management and Board reporting.</li><li>Generate reports from systems such as Snowflake, Data Warehouse, Stockpulse, and investigation platforms.</li><li>Write and maintain SQL queries to support investigations and finance projects.</li></ul>What You’ll Bring<ul><li>Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.</li><li>Strong time management and organizational skills.</li><li>0–3 years of audit, compliance, or related experience in public accounting or private industry.</li><li>BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent automotive industry experience).</li><li>CPA, CIA, or CFE candidate preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Experience with SharePoint, CDK, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, or other data visualization tools a plus.</li></ul>​We offer best in class industry benefits:<ul><li>Competitive pay</li><li>Medical, Dental and Vision Plans</li><li>Paid Holidays &amp; PTO</li><li>Short and Long-Term Disability</li><li>Paid Life Insurance</li><li>401(k) Retirement Plan</li><li>Employee Stock Purchase Plan</li><li>Lithia Learning Center</li><li>Vehicle Purchase Discounts</li><li>Wellness Programs</li></ul> High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
