All positions, unless otherwise specified, can be performed remotely (within Canada) regardless of any specified location above.  </em></strong></p> <h3>About The Team</h3> <p>The Networks team is responsible for defining, building and supporting authorization and authentication systems, high-frequency sensor ingest, client attesting technologies and network optimization. Their systems are used by all teams at Life360 and have tremendous impact on the overall operations of the product. Some of their maintained and owned services are the highest throughput in the company offering unique scaling challenges and opportunities.</p> <h3>About the Job</h3> <p>You’ll be working closely with some of our most senior engineers, including Staff, on Java and PHP technologies to enhance and extend our authorization systems as well as building the next generation of high-frequency sensor data ingest by utilizing Java, Kafka and Kafka Connect. Not only will you be building services, but you will have the opportunity to manage their deployment as well.</p> <p><em>The Canada-based salary range for this position is $125,500-$140,000 CAD. We take into consideration an individuals background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
