Join the Club!<h2></h2><h2>About the Role</h2>** This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. ** We’re looking for a Sr Marketing Automation Analyst to implement technical strategy, execution, and optimization of multi-channel lifecycle campaigns across the full customer journey. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing automation architecture, data orchestration, and the ability to turn behavioral insights into scalable, personalized experiences across email, SMS, push, and in-app messaging. You will support the execution of marketing campaigns across Email, SMS, and Push Notification channels. You will be responsible for deploying and maintaining marketing journeys that engage customers throughout their lifecycle—from acquisition to retention. Your expertise in implementing marketing automation strategy through cross channel Journeys, particularly with ESPs like Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), will make you a key stakeholder in product launches and overall marketing strategies. Additionally, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing a robust testing agenda to optimize campaign performance and drive business growth.<h2></h2><h2>What Youll Do</h2>Lifecycle Strategy &amp; Campaign Execution<ul><li>Support the development and execution of lifecycle marketing campaigns across the user journey, including onboarding, engagement, retention, and win-back programs</li><li>Build and manage multi-channel marketing automations (email, SMS, push, in-app, and site messaging) using event-triggered and real-time logic in collaboration with cross-functional partners</li><li>Partner with Product Marketing and Product teams to launch lifecycle programs that support new features and product adoption</li></ul>Technical Campaign Build &amp; Automation<ul><li>Execute campaigns using enterprise-grade platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Iterable, or Adobe Campaign</li><li>Develop dynamic, data-driven content using AMPscript, Liquid, or JavaScript to support personalization and conditional logic</li><li>Leverage SQL and scripting to build advanced segmentation and targeting logic within large, complex datasets</li></ul>Data Integration &amp; Platform Optimization<ul><li>Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and MarTech to ensure real-time and batch data integrations between internal systems and marketing platforms</li><li>Maintain and optimize marketing data pipelines and schemas to ensure consistent and accurate customer profiles and events</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>About You</h2><ul><li>2+ years in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or marketing automation, with experience in campaign building, data flows, and personalization at scale</li><li>Bachelors degree or higher in Marketing or related field; or equivalent work experience</li><li>Experience with enterprise marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Iterable, Adobe Campaign) with hands-on experience deploying simple to complex push notification, SMS and email campaigns</li><li>Proficient HTML/CSS skills required; comfortable building email templates, revising them, Translating design layout to mobile friendly email templates</li><li>Basic SQL skills required; comfortable writing queries against large customer datasets and integrating external data sources</li><li>Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as AMPscript, Liquid, or Dynamic personalization scripting</li><li>Comfortable working in a cross-functional team environment</li><li>Curious, motivated, and excited to grow your technical marketing skills</li><li>Familiarity with email marketing best practices is a plus</li></ul>Work Location San Francisco The above locations are eligible offices for this role. The locations have been determined to foster in-person collaboration with this role’s team or the related business lines. We utilize a hybrid work model, and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Time Zone Requirements Primarily PT While the position will primarily work local hours, LendingClub is headquartered in Pacific Time and our ideal candidate will be flexible working across time zones when necessary. Travel Requirements As needed travel to LendingClub offices and/or other locations, as needed. Compensation The target base salary range for this position is 88,000-100,000. The base salary of the role will be determined by job-related knowledge, experience, education, skills, and location. Base salary is just one part of LendingClub’s Total Rewards package.
