We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated DoD365 &amp; Power Platform engineers to support enablement of AFRICOM’s mission objectives. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US AFRICOM. </p><p></p><p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:<br />AFRICOMs Knowledge Management (KM) and Collaboration division seeks to develop solutions using agile methodology embodying modern UI/UX principles. In this role, you will:<br />•Provide daily KM Engineering support to develop business process improvement.<br />•Support and create Power Platform capabilities (applications, customizations, reports) in support customer business process automation.<br />•Work with end-users to gather requirements, propose solutions and execute ad-hoc requests.<br />•Communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner.<br />•Work in dynamic fast- paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts.  <br />•Demonstrate experience in interfacing with both client managers and system users.<br />•Provide SharePoint 2019 &amp; Power Platform application development solutions and knowledge to enhance the command’s decision-making processes. </p><p>•Provide advanced PowerBI reporting and visualization of data. </p><p>•Use modern client-side technologies to develop SharePoint Framework (SPFx) such as JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Node.js, Bootstrap, React, TypeScript, Svelte, etc. <br />•Have knowledge of common object models to include JSON, CSOM, and REST.<br />•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to co-workers.<br />•Provide remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required. </p><p></p><p>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:<br />•BA/BS + 5 years or AA/AS + 7 years, or a major cert + 9 years or 13 years of recent specialized experience.<br />•Current CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater).<br />•Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), React, SharePoint API, REST,CSOM and modern client-side development processes.<br />•Experience with SharePoint &amp; DoD365 PowerPlatform (including Power App, Dataverse, and PowerBI).<br />•Demonstrated understanding of software development using Agile methodology.<br />•Must have an active Secret security clearance.</p><p></p><p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:<br />•ITIL v3 – Foundation.<br />•Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Node.js, Knockout, Handlebars.js and the Visual Studio Code IDE.<br />•MS PL-900 or equivalent Certification.<br />•Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs.<br />•Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards.<br />•Experience with DoD IT security requirements. <br />•Experience in a Microsoft DevOps environment, Git source control and working in an agile software development team. <br />• Working understanding of MS Dataverse or MS Dynamics CRM.</p><p></p><p>CITS3</p><p></p><p>Come break things (in a good way).
