<p>The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking an experienced <span><b>AI Program Manager</b></span>; this position will allow for full time telework from any U.S. based location.</p><p></p><p><u><b>POSITION SUMMARY:</b></u><br />The Leidos Chief Data &amp; Analytics Office (CDAO) is a new, high-growth organization at the center of the companys technology strategy. Our Operational AI (Ops.AI) division is seeking a tactical and results-oriented AI Program Manager to lead our portfolio of transformative AI initiatives. This role is essential for ensuring our projects are executed efficiently and deliver measurable improvements to mission-critical outcomes. In this mission, we empower Leidos with secure, scalable, and trusted AI capabilities. </p><p></p><p><u><b>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: </b></u><br />The AI Program Manager will act as the operational backbone of the Ops.AI division, responsible for the successful execution of our Generative AI and Agentic AI programs. This individual will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and track progress against strategic goals, acting as a critical liaison between technical teams and executive leadership. This position is key to driving our AI vision forward and embedding intelligent solutions into everything we deliver. </p><ul><li>Program Lifecycle Management: Oversee the program lifecycle for the development and deployment of enterprise-scale AI solutions, including Generative AI and Agentic AI systems. </li><li>Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional teams, including systems, engineering, data science, AI fluency, and business functions &amp; sectors, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. </li><li>Resource Management: Develop and manage program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for the entire AI project portfolio. </li><li>Performance Tracking: Track and report on program status, KPIs, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals. </li><li>Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to resolve roadblocks and ensure a shared understanding of project goals. </li><li>Process Optimization: Implement and refine program management processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to optimize for efficiency and quality. </li><li>Mission Alignment: Ensure all AI applications are delivered on time, within budget, and are tightly aligned with mission-critical objectives. </li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</b></u></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree with 8+ years of prior relevant experience in a program or project management role. </li><li>Proven track record of managing complex technology programs, preferably in AI, data analytics, or software development. </li><li>Strong understanding of the AI development lifecycle and concepts like Generative AI. </li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. </li><li>This position offers flexibility for remote or hybrid work arrangements. </li><li>Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. </li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b></u></p><ul><li>PMP or Agile (e.g., CSM, SAFe) certification. </li><li>Experience managing programs in the national security, federal, or government contracting environment. </li><li>Direct experience with programs involving Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or agentic systems. </li><li>Proficiency with program management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. </li><li>Financial management experience, including budget planning and tracking for technology programs. </li></ul><p></p><p>Come break things (in a good way).
