<div><span>About the Role</span></div><div><br /></div><div>LearnLux is looking for an experienced part-time or freelance editor to support the content team in reviewing and polishing varied types of copy to meet our tone, voice, and style and to follow our quality and excellence standards. The goal is to provide exceptional, informative, and engaging content. You will be part of a collaborative culture that puts an emphasis on quality around financial education. </div><div><br /></div><div>To excel in this position, you will demonstrate an excellent eye for detail, great time management and communication skills, and proven editing and proofreading experience. LearnLux members feel great about their money, allowing their work and wellbeing to thrive. </div><div><br /></div><div>We’re a remote-first company, backed by prominent operators such as Ashton Kutcher’s fund Sound Ventures and Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff.</div><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Help transform advanced financial topics into fun, friendly, easy-to-understand content</li><li>Review and edit educational lessons to ensure compliance with LearnLux Style Guide, including tone, voice, grammar, and style choices</li><li>Ensure all content is free of grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors</li><li>Support the localization process by adapting global content to local preferences, reflecting cultural nuances, local vocabulary, and grammar differences</li><li>Fact-checking copy and identifying potentially problematic information or statements </li></ul><h3>You Should Have</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, or similar</li><li>A minimum of two years of work experience as an editor or in a similar role</li><li>Familiarity with editing in Google Docs </li><li>Excellent written skills and command of the English language</li><li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies</li><li>Excellent time management and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and adapt to rapid changes</li><li>Availability to work at least 15 hours per week</li></ul><h3>Nice to haves</h3><ul><li>Knowledge of a second language (Spanish and French preferred)</li><li>Prior experience in the financial industry</li><li>Prior experience in localization processes or with adapting copy to multiple locales</li></ul><div>LearnLux strives to be an inclusive workplace and values learning from and engaging across different perspectives.
