<h4>About the Job:</h4> Solutions Architects at LaunchDarkly are the core of our elite Professional Services organization, helping customers decouple deploy from release to enable rapid, reliable, and safe software delivery. As a key member of the Revenue team, you will apply your technical expertise to guide customers through transformative implementations of LaunchDarkly, acting as a trusted advisor throughout their journey. In this role, you will lead strategic engagements with our customers and partners, helping them accelerate software development and adopt modern release practices that reduce risk and improve velocity. You’ll educate teams on how to maximize the value of LaunchDarkly, championing best practices that foster long-term success and excitement for building great software. This is a unique opportunity to make a measurable impact, grow your career, and be part of a team at the forefront of Release Excellence. <h4>Responsibilities:</h4> <ul> <li> Leverage deep technical expertise and a consultative approach to understand customer needs, gather detailed requirements, and influence key decisions that drive successful outcomes. </li> <li> Lead Professional Services engagements designed to optimize our clients’ software delivery processes, aligning their strategies with industry best practices for improved efficiency and innovation. </li> <li> Provide guidance on software development best practices, advising customers on how to harness LaunchDarkly to accelerate software delivery while minimizing risk and enhancing quality. </li> <li> Foster a robust technical partnership between LaunchDarkly and its customers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maximizing value across all touchpoints. </li> <li> Identify and resolve technical obstacles that hinder value realization, enabling customers to achieve their objectives more effectively. </li> <li> Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on LaunchDarkly, continuously evolving your knowledge to stay ahead of industry trends. </li> <li> Act as a key advocate for customers, synthesizing and conveying their feedback to Product and Engineering teams, driving the development of solutions that support both customer success and company objectives. </li> </ul> <h4>About You:</h4> <ul> <li> You are a self‐starter and excited to take on hard problems.  </li> <li> You are passionate about helping customers and have a strong sense of ownership. </li> <li> You can effectively communicate with experts from different backgrounds, and build strong stakeholder relationships. </li> <li> You have a technical background and are interested in a customer-facing role. </li> <li> You are a deeply curious individual, who is not comfortable with just getting enough context to give an answer. You feel the need to understand how things work underneath. </li> </ul> <h4>Qualifications:</h4> <ul> <li> You have 5+ years of experience in enterprise software. </li> <li> You have a hands-on technical background with a consultative approach. </li> <li> You are an expert in implementing the full software development lifecycle with multiple years of experience in an enterprise environment.  </li> <li> You are experienced developing in at least one of our supported languages: Java, .NET, Go, JS, Python, PHP,  NodeJS, Ruby, Rails, iOS, or Android. </li> <li> You are able to guide customers and teammates in implementation of DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery practices.  </li> <li> You have delivered on teams through development process transformation. </li> <li> You learn and synthesize large amounts of information and are adept at acquiring the context you need to make prescriptive recommendations to our customers. </li> <li> You have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, but the discipline and focus to know where you attention is most needed. </li> <li> Experience with experimentation and mobile. </li> <li> You have served as a consultant for customers in the past </li> <li> You have performed in both a pre-sales and post-sales capacity </li> <li> Experience with LaunchDarkly or other feature management platforms. </li> <li> You have worked with the services of one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).  </li> <li> You have worked with Linux, Containers, and Virtual Machines. </li> </ul> Pay: Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level P4:   <ul> <li>Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle - $167,000 - $229,000**</li> <li>Zone 2: Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago - $150,000 - $206,000**</li> <li>Zone 3: All other US locations - $141,000 - $195,000**</li> </ul> LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs.
