<h4>About the Job:</h4> We are looking for a talented Solutions Engineer at LaunchDarkly –  you will be a trusted technical advisor to our corporate and mid-market prospects and customers. This role is a critical part of the growth strategy at LaunchDarkly, serving as a trusted technical advisor to sales working to both land new customers and expand existing customers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in supporting multiple verticals. An ideal candidate excels in active listening, building solutions, and demonstrates strong technical expertise with a customer-centric focus.  <h4>Responsibilities:</h4> <ul> <li> Serve as the technical lead in the sales process, with both prospects and customers, from discovery and demos to proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and partner with Customer Success &amp; Professional Services to drive expansion. </li> <li> Translate complex requirements into actionable technology solutions. </li> <li> Conduct customer-facing presentations, demonstrations, and white-boarding sessions. </li> <li> Partner with account executives to develop and present compelling technical proposals tailored to business and IT objectives. </li> <li> Establish yourself as a trusted advisor with prospects by building credibility through meaningful engagement. </li> <li> Build champions that will help us win deals on our timeline and at our price point. </li> <li> Act as a liaison between the client and internal product/engineering teams to ensure feedback is incorporated into product development. </li> <li> Maintain deep knowledge of company products, integrations, and industry trends within industry verticals. </li> <li> Lead or support technical responses to security questionnaires and RFPs. </li> <li> Travel as required to support customer meetings and industry events. </li> </ul> <h4>Qualifications:</h4> <ul> <li> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). </li> <li> 2+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or systems architecture customer facing role. </li> <li> Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure  &amp; Google Cloud). </li> <li> Experience leading &amp; documenting proof of concepts and building technical &amp; deal champions. </li> <li> Experience with security and compliance frameworks PII, PCI, HIPAA </li> <li> Strong technical background in areas such as the SDLC, cloud architecture or DevOps. </li> <li> Excellent communication and presentation skills. </li> </ul> Specific Requirements:  <ul> <li> 20% travel required </li> </ul> Pay: Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level 3:  <ul> <li>Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle - $167,000 - $229,000**</li> <li>Zone 2: Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago - $150,000 - $206,000**</li> <li>Zone 3: All other US locations - $141,000 - $195,000   **</li> </ul> LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs.
