LabCorp is seeking a temporary Sr Project Manager that is confident in managing teams and projects, enjoys achieving milestones and is comfortable communicating results to all stakeholders. The Sr. Project manager is accountable for planning, allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Note: This is a hybrid role requiring at least 1 day per week onsite at one of the following locations: San Diego, CA, Spokane WA, or Seattle, WA.

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll play a critical role in bringing Labcorp’s goals to life by leading high-impact initiatives that shape our future. You’ll partner closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure projects stay aligned, on schedule, and within scope—while driving results that truly matter.

  • Lead multiple, high-priority projects and programs that support business growth and innovation

  • Collaborate across departments to align project outcomes with strategic goals

  • Build and manage detailed work plans, drive milestones, and deliver updates to key stakeholders

  • Analyze options, manage risk and change, and help shape data-driven decisions that elevate performance

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management teams to deliver on projects that span across different areas of the business

  • Determine and define scope and objectives. Break complex projects into simpler tasks and set goals and timeframes

  • Plan, budget, and manage resources to execute projects effectively, including forecasting needs, tracking costs, and ensuring alignment with timelines and deliverables.

  • Lead cross-functional teams and vendors, resolving conflicts, guiding prioritization, and mentoring peers to ensure smooth collaboration and successful project outcomes.

  • Communicate project status and progress through regular updates, documentation, presentations, and reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.

  • Analyze workflows, performance metrics, and business needs to identify gaps, assess strategies, and continuously improve processes and decision-making.

  • Mentor project manager peers and team members in best practices and execution of projects.

  • This is a temporary position that is limited to a fix term.  As the end of the fix term of employment, employment with Labcorp will be terminated.  This temporary position is not eligible for any severance benefits upon expiration of the term of employment.  

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in project management

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate all areas of the PM lifecycle:  Scope/Planning/Execution/Closure and mentor others through process

  • Proven ability to manage large integrated projects across multiple disciplines

  • Advanced skills with project management software tools, methodologies and best practices

  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and detail-oriented skills with a creative approach to challenges

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities

  • Highly organized and resourceful with strong time-management capabilities

  • Ability to travel up to 40% to support the West Division projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

  • PMP or Black Belt Certification

The schedule for his position will be: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM PST; additional hours as needed

Location: Hybrid - Work 1 day a week from either the Seattle, WA, Spokane, WA or San Diego, CA office

Pay Range: $110,000-$160,000 annually
