The candidate works collaboratively with these functional teams to define plans, and Requirements for a seamless handoff from Concept to Delivery. The IT Sr. Technical Specialist must advocate and prioritize business cases to execute on product strategy.This is a fully remote opportunity.Essential Job Duties:<ul><li>Responsible for defining and supporting the LIMS Problem Management System to be used by multiple lines of business that perform specialty and clinical laboratory testing.</li><li>Responsible for all aspects of future laboratory LIMS solutions, to include setting workflow direction, defining workflows, gathering and documenting requirements, integrating with existing products, deploying solutions and training users.</li><li>Participates in the Laboratory Systems team and collaborates in accomplishing defined LIMS initiatives.</li><li>Participates in the development of the overall IT strategy for LIMS development and deployment.</li><li>Coordinates and manages the evaluation of risk assessments and change management for new disciplines migrating to the LIMS. Develop measurements and measures LIMS deployment and performance.</li><li>Represents department in business meetings through good verbal and written communications and presentations.</li><li>Partners with Operations Lead to ensure successful build of workflows, deployment of enhancements, and implementations.</li><li>Establishes and maintains an effective combination of internal team skill sets, department relationships and vendor relationships necessary to meet or exceed technical needs for laboratory requirements.</li><li>Fosters good working relationships with all departments while managing business expectation levels.</li><li>Promotes, represents, and shares knowledge and experience with team and operation.</li><li>Employs excellent requirements management skills and translates requirements into technical development of current or future products and/or services.</li><li>Supports a collaborative environment of candor, trust and mutual respect.</li><li>Develops appropriate technical, operational and scientific knowledge to provide superior guidance to team.</li><li>Ensures compliance with company methodologies and processes to meet regulatory requirements and good business standards.</li><li>Adheres to all appropriate corporate and departmental policies and procedures.</li><li>Meets company, department and individual objectives.</li><li>Travel as needed 20%</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>7+ years experience in a medical laboratory environment (required)</li><li>5+ years experience deploying laboratory information systems (preferred)</li><li>3+ years experience as a team leader (preferred)</li><li>3+ years working as an IT Business Analyst defining and documenting Business Requirements and workflows.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent technical work experience.</li><li>Able to work on multiple problems, identify/correct production issues, effectively manage and motivate project teams (required)</li><li>Provide 24/7 product support on a rotating basis (required)</li><li>Strong analytical and organizational skills (required)</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills (required)</li><li>Highly motivated and enthusiastic, a self-starter (required) Incumbent will define, deploy, and support</li><li>Laboratory Information Management Systems and Products to be used by multiple specialty laboratory departments.</li><li>This individual will be responsible for specialty laboratory solutions, to include defining/configuring workflows and gathering/documenting requirements, integrating with existing products, working with and coordinating with LIMS vendors, deploying the solution, and training users.</li></ul>Application Window closes 11/28/2025Pay Range: $110,000 - $140,000 annuallyAll job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.   Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.  Casual, PRN &amp; Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
