You will play a critical role in keeping our hybrid network infrastructure reliable, scalable, and secure. This role requires hands-on technical depth in routing, automation, and documentation, with opportunities to help shape connectivity between data centers, cloud platforms, and customer environments. Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers. </li><li>Interconnect on-prem networks with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) using ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, VPN, and virtual network peering. </li><li>Operate and troubleshoot multi-site, multi-datacenter connectivity, ensuring high availability and resiliency. </li><li>Monitor performance, analyze traffic patterns, and adjust routing for latency, scale, and fault tolerance. </li><li>Support lifecycle management: upgrades, patches, firmware maintenance, and structured change management. </li><li>Produce clear high-level design documents, detailed design documents, topology maps, and runbooks; ensure they remain current as changes are introduced. </li><li>Collaborate with other teams in the organization to align designs with business and compliance requirements. </li><li>Participate in capacity planning and forecasting; ensure network can accommodate growth. </li><li>Build automation into day-to-day operations and deployments using Ansible, Python, and Terraform. </li><li>Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.</li></ul>Your Future at KyndrylAs a Senior Network Engineer on our team, you will have the chance to work on high-impact architecture initiatives that shape the foundation of our global network. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:    California: $106,080 to $219,840 Colorado: $96,480 to $183,240 New York City: $115,680 to $219,840 Washington: $106,080 to $201,480 Washington DC: $106,080 to $201,480   This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
