And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others. <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Administer and maintain logical security controls using CA-ACF2, RACF, or Top Secret on z/OS systems</li><li>Define and manage access rules, logon IDs, UID strings, and resource permissions</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams: zOS, Network, Automation, Storage, CICS, DB2, IMS</li><li>Install and upgrade mainframe security products; support zOS management</li><li>Respond to incidents and service requests; resolve security-related issues</li><li>Manage SSL and digital certificates; provide 24x7 standby support for Sev1/2 issues</li><li>Customize system and hardware layout for security optimization</li><li>Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises and zOS cloning services</li><li>Secure infrastructure and customer application resources</li><li>Implement and monitor global system security policies</li><li>Generate and deliver mainframe security reports</li><li>Support corporate and client audits with detailed documentation</li><li>Provide guidance based on Kyndryl’s CSD and CIS Benchmark standards</li><li>Apply HIPAA, PCI, DISA STIGS, and NIST requirements to system configurations</li><li>Evaluate and implement software/application security across subsystems (CICS, DB2, IMS, MQSeries, etc.)</li><li>Create/update/run JCL jobs to support security changes and monitoring</li><li>Analyze data and write reports using RACFRW, ETF/A, zSecure, VRA, SAS, etc.</li><li>Develop scripts using REXX, Clist, CARLa</li><li>Manage Problem and Change tickets using IPC tools</li><li>Present security concepts to management and clients with clarity and confidence</li><li>Use MS Word, Excel, and terminal emulators (TN3270, Reflections, etc.) effectively</li><li>Lead projects and meetings as a self-starter with minimal supervision</li></ul><h3></h3><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum 10 years of hands-on z/OS Logical Security support (Skill Level 3–4 on a 0–4 scale)</li><li>Extensive knowledge of one or more: CA-ACF2, RACF, TopSecret</li><li>Strong understanding of z/OS architecture, JCL, SDSF, JES2/3, FTP</li><li>Familiarity with security standards: HIPAA, PCI, DISA STIGS, NIST</li><li>Experience with Kyndryl’s CSD and CIS Benchmark requirements</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and resolution skills</li><li>Above-average oral and written communication skills</li><li>Fluent in English (written and verbal)</li><li>Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support</li></ul><h3>Nice to Have</h3><ul><li>MVS system support or programming experience</li><li>UserID administration skills</li></ul> Preferred Skills and Experience •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or other related fields •Preferred Certifications in Cyber Security: ECTHP (Certified Threat Hunting Professional) or  ECMAP (Malware Analysis Professional) •Experience in security monitoring and in advanced analytics (UEBA)The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $110,880 to $210,600based on a full-time schedule.  Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations: California:$122,040 to $252,840 Colorado: $110,880 to $210,600 New York City: $133,080 to $252,840 Washington: $122,040 to $231,720 Washington DC:$122,040 to $231,720   This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans.
