From building cutting-edge proof-of-concept models to architecting data systems tailored to client needs, you’ll transform complex requirements into robust, scalable solutions.This is a hands-on role working with a diverse range of technologies, ensuring seamless operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and bespoke data solutions. You’ll administer and manage key database systems such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and cloud-based platforms, overseeing database performance while monitoring and optimizing to ensure efficiency, reliability, and security. By developing and enforcing best practices around data management, you’ll safeguard the integrity of critical information. You’ll also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to high-visibility database projects and initiatives. And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others.Required Technical and Professional Expertise • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field • 3+ years in DB/app administration (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, cloud DBs) • Knowledge of database concepts, architecture, and best practices • Experience in database tuning, optimization, and performance monitoring • Familiarity with cloud DB services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP SQL) and Data Warehouse/Data Lake solutionsPreferred Technical and Professional Experience • Experience with Cloudera or Teradata platforms • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Effective communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment Being YouDiversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
