Required Skills and Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, AI, or related field.</li><li>Experience in AI engineering, with a focus on agentic systems or autonomous workflows.</li><li>10+ years of experience in application development.</li><li>Deep understanding of application migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor, retire).</li><li>Experience having built and leveraged AI for software development.</li><li>Proficiency in cloud-native development and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi).</li><li>Experience building autonomous agents using frameworks like Lang Chain, Semantic Kernel, or custom planners.</li><li>Experience with LLMs, reinforcement learning, or multi-agent systems.</li><li>Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or other modern languages.</li></ul> Preferred Skills and Experience<ul><li>Experience with both modern and legacy application development.</li><li>Experience in Legacy modernization assessments.</li><li>Good understanding of Legacy technologies (AS400, IBM Mainframe, HP Tandem, etc)</li><li>Experience in reverse engineering of legacy source to generate business requirements</li><li>Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., Azure Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect), Agentic AI.</li><li>Familiarity with enterprise platforms (SAP, Infor, Oracle) and legacy modernization tools.</li><li>Experience developing ML Models</li><li>Knowledge of data lake architectures and ETL pipelines (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks).</li><li>Exposure to compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA) and secure migration practices.</li></ul>The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $138,480 to $263,160 based on a full-time schedule.  Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations: California: $152,400 to $315,720 Colorado: $138,480 to $263,160 New York City: $166,200 to $315,720 Washington: $152,400 to $289,440 Washington DC: $152,400 to $289,440   This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
