We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Business Applications to lead our global enterprise application team. This individual will drive the strategy, development, implementation, and support of critical business enablement technology solutions. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring technical expertise, service delivery excellence, and strong business acumen. The role will be responsible for establishing best practices in software, data management, and platform delivery. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Design and Plan <ul> <li>Define and implement agile delivery best practices, from design to deployment and ongoing support.</li> <li>Shape business applications and IT systems architecture, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering comprehensive solutions that enable desired business outcomes.</li> <li>Own the overall data architecture and data flow design across systems, ensuring consistency, data integrity, and support for analytics and reporting needs.</li> <li>For acquisition targets, perform analysis and gap assessments and recommend integration designs.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Develop, Deliver, and Support <ul> <li>Drive and align external staff augmentation or Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to boost capacity and strategic initiatives.</li> <li>Own and operate the Salesforce ecosystem integration strategy, including CPQ, and integrations with go-to-market platforms (Salesloft, Chorus), finance systems (NetSuite,</li> <li>Descartes), and analytics tools (Snowflake, Looker).</li> <li>Manage SOX control and audit processes for all critical applications.</li> <li>Drive AI and automation initiatives utilizing AWS and/or 3rd party services to improve internal business effectiveness and operational efficiency.</li> <li>Build and manage nearshore and offshore delivery teams.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Collaborate <ul> <li>Act as a strategic liaison between IT and business leaders, ensuring technology roadmaps align with evolving business priorities.</li> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment on priorities, resources, and timelines.</li> <li>Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations that simplify complex technical topics and communicate business impact.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Flex and Adapt <ul> <li>Thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment while driving toward long-term scale and reusability.</li> <li>Confidently navigate ambiguity, drawing out key requirements and organizational constraints from unstructured situations.</li> <li>Balance the urgency of immediate business needs with the importance of building scalable, maintainable solutions.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Provide genuine recommendations as to the hiring, firing, promotion, and discipline of subordinate employees to which the Company gives significant weight</li> </ul> Minimum Qualifications: <ul> <li>Degree in Computer Science, M.I.S., or related field (or equivalent experience).</li> <li>15+ years experience in IT and application development, with 5+ years in executive or senior leadership roles.</li> <li>Proven experience leading enterprise service delivery and application teams in dynamic, high-growth environments.</li> <li>Experience building and leading global, distributed teams.</li> <li>Hands-on leadership experience with the following technologies is highly preferred: <ul> <li>Sales and Customer Success: Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ/ Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA), ZoomInfo, Salesloft, Churn Zero, Chorus, Clay, Gainsight</li> <li>Integration Platforms: Celigo, MuleSoft, Boomi</li> <li>Finance Systems: NetSuite, Zuora, Descartes, Avalara, BillingPlatform</li> <li>Support: Salesforce, ZenDesk</li> <li>Data &amp;amp; Infrastructure: Snowflake, Looker, data cataloging and governance tools</li> <li>AI and Automation: experience developing and deploying AI models and intelligent</li> <li>Automation solutions</li> <li>DevOps &amp;amp; Agile Tools: Jira, Confluence, Copado, AWS cloud infrastructure services</li> </ul> </li> </ul> The base pay for this position ranges from $250,000 - $280,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicants skills and experience align with the job description listed above.
