The team is responsible for all construction and site improvement work to enable the business needs as well as align with the financial requirements.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsThe Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Specialist is responsible for developing and managing GSOC operations to ensure the safety and security of the organizations assets, employees, and visitors. This role involves overseeing a team of security professionals, integrating intelligence from various sources to enhance response capabilities, and implementing robust security protocols and procedures. The GSOC Specialist conducts regular risk assessments, oversees security technologies, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations. Reporting to the Manager of Global Security Operations and Systems, the GSOC Specialist collaborates with other departments to maintain a cohesive approach to security and risk management. Applicants must possess technical expertise and key concepts necessary to operate a security operations center effectivelyKey Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee and develop a team of security professionals and onsite incident responders for the respective facilities</li><li>Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing team</li><li>Oversees the investigation and response to security/safety incidents, coordinating across departments as necessary, and ensuring timely and accurate communication with affected clients</li><li>Develop, maintain, and assist with implementing a global SOC design standards program to ensure all locations maintain the same dynamics</li><li>Liaison with the Security Systems team to facilitate enhancements and maintain uptime objectives</li><li>Identify, establish and manage an internal user-friendly global security repository that provides all GSOC with the same information</li><li>Present incident findings, root cause analyses, and remediation recommendations</li><li>Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure the effectiveness of GSOC activities and identify areas for improvement</li><li>Should have security access control and video management systems knowledge</li><li>Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed (5% to 10% or less travel commitment)</li><li>Be flexible with work hours in order to communicate with individuals from different time zones</li><li>Knowledge in the areas of emergency/disaster management, physical security, critical incident stress management, risk management and business resiliency, experience with emergency procedure protocols and regulatory interfaces</li><li>Being able to work under stressful circumstances but still maintaining a level of calmness while dealing with emergency situations</li><li>Leads initiatives to improve service capabilities, quality assurance initiatives, and tool/process migrations, integrations, and automation</li><li>Maintains, develops and documents GSOC playbooks for consistent, high-quality SOC operations, ensuring regular updates to reflect industry best practices and latest threats</li><li>Ensure 24/7 coverage for global support of incidents, travel restrictions/incidents, threats, emergency response, and communication</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Associate’s degree OR minimum of 7 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), preferably at a global level</li><li>At least 2 years of experience in an indirect leadership and or mentorship.</li><li>ASIS Certifications are highly preferred</li><li>Experience in security technologies including Access Control Systems as well as CCTV systems</li><li>Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment</li><li>Proficient in project management</li><li>Skilled in managing crises and providing frontline leadership in coordinating responses</li><li>Ability to quickly adapt and address high-priority issues.</li></ul>Base Pay Range: $96,000.00 - $163,200.00 AnnuallyPrimary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLAKLA’s total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.Interns are eligible for some of the benefits listed.
