LOCATION: Hybrid role based in Munich
As Senior FP&A Manager at KINEXON, you will take full ownership of our financial planning and control processes, driving strategic decision-making across the company. This role is central to our finance function and offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the Executive Board, investors, and department heads to provide actionable insights through data, reporting, and predictive analysis.
We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive financial expert who is eager to own the annual budgeting process end-to-end, build cutting-edge financial models, and leverage AI and modern finance tools to push the boundaries of what a finance team can deliver. Your role will not only support growth and performance but will also shape the financial future of KINEXON.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and own the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and resource allocation.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, management dashboards, and investor-ready performance reviews.
- Build and maintain robust financial models, scenario analyses, and AI-driven forecasting tools to support business planning.
- Act as a strategic finance business partner for key departments (Sales, Projects, Product, etc.), providing financial guidance and KPI-based insights to support operational excellence.
- Evaluate and continuously improve internal business processes and system landscape through the implementation of state-of-the-art AI initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the Accounting team on liquidity planning, accounts receivable/payable, and financial compliance.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Controlling, Financial Consulting, or similar roles with increasing responsibility.
- Proven track record in budget ownership, strategic planning, and executive-level reporting.
- Strong technical expertise in financial systems and tools: Advanced Excel skills, solid experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI), databases/SQL, and modern FP&A platforms (e.g., Workday Adaptive).
- Hands-on experience applying AI/ML technologies in finance (e.g., for forecasting, automation, anomaly detection).
- Excellent communication skills in German and English – able to present complex financial topics clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and driven by the desire to make a measurable impact in a fast-paced tech environment.
