The PEDM suite supports key functionalities such as secret storage, vault management, access controls, audit logging, and enterprise integrations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, DevOps, and product management to test back-end services and interfaces, verify security rules and policies, and ensure that enterprise customers receive a robust, secure, and compliant experience. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to learn, with an eye for detail and a passion for helping deliver reliable, secure applications.Responsibilities<ul><li>Execute manual testing across PEDM services and interfaces, focusing on Operating System administration, API responses, backend workflows, and security configurations</li><li>Design, document, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts</li><li>Perform integration, functional, and regression testing on new features, system updates, and third-party integrations</li><li>Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand technical requirements and product use cases</li><li>Identify, document, and track bugs in Jira, ensuring complete and clear reproduction steps.</li><li>Assist in implementing QA best practices for enterprise systems, including data integrity checks and role-based access verifications</li><li>Participate in QA automation strategy discussions and contribute to automated test coverage where applicable</li></ul><ul><li>Strong attention to detail and a passion for software quality</li><li>Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux and Mac Administration</li><li>Understanding of file and directory level permissions</li><li>Clear understanding of Active Directory and group policy management</li><li>Azure Domain Services &amp; Intune Deployment methodologies</li><li>Foundational knowledge of QA methodologies including functional, integration, and system testing</li><li>Basic familiarity with backend systems, logs, and cloud-based architectures (AWS knowledge is a plus)</li><li>Ability to clearly document and communicate test results and bugs</li><li>Proficiency with Jira or similar bug tracking systems</li><li>Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially in cross-functional remote teams</li><li>Due to the roles involvement in GovCloud, all applicants must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder)</li></ul>Preferred Requirements<ul><li>Exposure to security-related testing or working in a security-focused product environment</li><li>Understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), encryption standards, or IAM (Identity and Access Management)</li><li>Familiarity with test automation frameworks or scripting languages</li><li>Experience with CI/CD environments and QA in Agile workflows</li></ul>
