We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our (relatively small) team to help us build the next generation of financial markets.</p> <h2><strong>Role Roadmap</strong></h2> <p>We are looking for a <strong>Video Editor</strong> who is passionate about creating viral social media content, including TikTok and other user-generated content. We have a massive nationwide campaign coming up that will involve hundreds of videos being created. This role will be crucial to the success of the campaign.</p> <p>Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Edit and produce high-quality, engaging social media videos, including UGC TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.</li> <li>Collaborate with our creative and social teams to ideate, plan, and execute video content that will go viral.</li> <li>Transform raw footage into polished, short-form video content that’s optimized for social media.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with social media video trends, techniques, and best practices to ensure content resonates with our audience.</li> <li>Ability to film or capture content is a plus—helping guide shoots or even capturing footage on occasion.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Who You Are:</strong></h2> <p>You love making super high quality engaging videos and have made many viral videos yourself. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are obsessed with crafting content that engages and excites audiences.</p> <p><strong>Some basic requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience making videos that have gone viral.</li> <li>2+ years of experience in video editing, specifically for social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.</li> <li>Proven ability to create highly engaging and viral content.</li> <li>A creative mindset with a keen understanding of storytelling, pacing, and the latest video trends.</li> <li>Experience in editing short-form, fast-paced videos for social media audiences.</li> <li>Experience with sound editing, color correction, and motion graphics is a plus.</li> <li>Bonus: Experience in filming content or directing video shoots.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>NYC Pay Transparency Disclosure:</strong></h2> <p>Salary Range: $70,000 to $150,000 annually plus equity and benefits.</p> <p>This salary range is based on the current available market data and represents the expected salary range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but a broad range of experience is represented within roles.
