We also have physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.<h2>About your role</h2>We’re looking for a high-activity, results-driven Sales Associate who thrives on outbound prospecting and the challenge of building pipeline from the ground up. This role is perfect for someone who loves the hustle of sales - picking up the phone, crafting creative outreach, and driving meaningful conversations with prospective customers.You’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities through a mix of research, outbound engagement, and event participation. Working closely with Account Executives, you’ll strategically target accounts, identify decision-makers, and create qualified opportunities that lead to real growth.The ideal candidate has a strong “activity drives results” mentality and a genuine passion for connecting with people. You’ll combine strategy and execution - from researching accounts and leveraging AI-driven tools to representing Juniper Square with professionalism, curiosity, and enthusiasm. This is a high-impact role with clear opportunities for growth into an Account Executive position.We’re looking for someone based in New York City who can join the team in our office 3 days a week to connect in person, collaborate, and build relationships.The application deadline for this role is November 3rd, 2025.<h2>What you’ll do</h2><ul><li>Generate and Qualify Leads:<ul><li>Execute targeted outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new business opportunities.</li><li>Maintain consistent activity levels: 300+ calls and 200+ emails per week - while focusing on quality conversations and qualified meetings.</li></ul></li><li>Drive Pipeline Growth:<ul><li>Identify and engage prospects within both assigned and unassigned territories, uncovering new opportunities across the private markets space.</li><li>Partner with your assigned Account Executives to develop territory strategies, share insights, and align outreach efforts.</li></ul></li><li>Leverage Modern Sales Tools:<ul><li>Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI-driven prospecting platforms, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to build and manage a clean, organized pipeline.</li></ul></li><li>Spot Trigger Events and Buying Signals:<ul><li>Monitor industry news, funding announcements, acquisitions, leadership changes, and other trigger events to identify timely outreach opportunities.</li><li>Use news alerts, research tools, and social signals to personalize outreach and connect with prospects when interest is highest.</li></ul></li><li>Become a Product and Industry Expert:<ul><li>Develop a deep understanding of Juniper Square’s platform and the value it delivers to real estate private equity and other private market investors.</li><li>Confidently articulate our value proposition to senior decision-makers and tailor messaging to their unique needs.</li></ul></li><li>Engage in Events:<ul><li>Support and attend industry events, conferences, and webinars to identify prospects and build relationships.</li><li>Manage pre- and post-event outreach - including invitations, follow-ups, and lead nurturing to convert interest into meetings.</li></ul></li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Proven Cold Calling Experience</li><li>Demonstrated success in a prior sales or business development role that involved daily/weekly calling and emailing KPIs.</li><li>Experience attending industry events and driving interest</li><li>Experience with designing and executing outbound campaigns.</li><li>A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding monthly/quarterly quotas.</li><li>Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Familiarity with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn SalesNav, etc.</li><li>Experience or strong interest in SaaS, real estate private equity, or financial services technology.</li></ul><h2>Compensation</h2>Compensation for this position includes a base salary, commissions and a variety of benefits. The U.S. base salary target for this role is $70,000-$80,000.
