Senior Sales Engineer - Poland

Your Role
Sales Engineers are a critical member of the sales team in region and have a primary responsibility to collaborate with Account Managers with the technical sales activities in new and existing opportunities.
Sales Engineers have in-depth, hands-on experience with products and solutions and can demonstrate proven internetworking skills to our customers from different market segments.
Sales Engineers assist with understanding customer’s requirements, the design of solutions, delivering sales presentations, presenting technical information about products and solutions, conducting product demonstrations, installing product evaluations, presenting/training at seminars, and responding to RFPs and RFIs.
What we will challenge you to achieve
- Provide pre-sales technical consultation in the design, engineering, sale, and implementation of sophisticated products, applications, and solutions.
- Working in partnership with sales teams, strategic and industry partners in assessing the potential use of our products ensuring that optimum systems solutions are provided to new and existing customers.
- Proven experience of process, tools, and techniques for responding to a customer’s proposals (RFI, RFP, RFQ) and create viable proposals that grow Junipers business in a driven and opportunity-filled sales environment.
- Experience and knowledge in developing and consulting on architecture designs, bill of materials, and implementation specifications for next-generation networks and solutions.
- Use your industry and product knowledge to engage and influence customer technology strategies by demonstrating Juniper technologies during technical sales presentations, proof of concept tests, and demo engagements.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong professional relationships with customer decision-makers and industry partner community
- Deliver training and support to our industry partners and customer engineers.
- Continuously learn to stay ahead with your knowledge of the industry and competitive solutions, products, and services.
What you need to have
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a technical/pre-sales role.
- Bachelors and/or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, and or related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in working with and consulting on Routing and Security technology solutions.
- Experience in selling, designing or implementing and operating large-scale networks in critical environments for enterprise customers.
- General understanding of the market/technology and industry trends.
- Solid interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills with experience in customer-facing sales activities (presenting, whiteboarding etc.).
- Experience presenting to technical and financial decision makers.
- Proven technical capability, ability to learn quickly, and apply skills in new protocols and applications.
- Routing Protocols knowledge is desired.
- Industry certifications from Juniper or other vendors is a plus.
