In this key role, youll lead complex, cross-functional technical programs that are vital to our product roadmap and company goals. Youll also play a big part in improving our software development processes to ensure efficient and predictable delivery. </span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>This position requires strong technical understanding, excellent leadership, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations while fostering collaboration across engineering, product, and other teams.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>As a Staff TPM, youll be a recognized leader, helping shape technical strategy, anticipating challenges, and ensuring we deliver impactful software solutions by championing effective agile practices.</span></div><h3>In this role, you will be responsible for: </h3><ul><li><b>Program Leadership:</b> Drive large-scale, complex software programs from start to finish, defining their scope and success.</li><li><b>Technical Insight: </b>Understand software development deeply, including system architectures, and help teams make smart technical choices.</li><li><b>Agile/Scrum Champion:</b> Implement and improve our agile and scrum practices across teams, coaching them to be more effective.</li><li><b>Collaboration Driver: </b>Ensure alignment and resolve conflicts among engineering, product, UX, and other key stakeholders.</li><li><b>Risk Management:</b> Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical and program risks, communicating clearly to all levels.</li><li><b>Clear Communication:</b> Maintain consistent communication, providing timely updates and summaries to everyone involved.</li><li><b>Mentorship: </b>Lead by example, guiding engineering and product teams to hit their goals, and mentoring other TPMs.</li><li><b>Data-Driven:</b> Use data and metrics to track progress, identify trends, and inform important decisions.</li></ul><h3>You have: </h3><ul><li>10+ years of solid experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, or Engineering Leadership in software.</li><li>Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional software development programs.</li><li>Strong technical background, able to understand complex software systems and architectures.</li><li>Extensive expertise in agile and scrum methodologies, especially for large, multi-team programs.</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills; able to influence without direct authority.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to effectively manage risks and dependencies.</li></ul><h3>Bonus points if you have: </h3><ul><li>Higher Education Degree: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.</li><li>Experience with large distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or specific domain expertise (e.g., cybersecurity, AI/ML, data platforms, SaaS).</li><li>Program/Project Management certifications (PMP, SAFe SPC, PSM III).</li><li>Experience leading initiatives with significant ambiguity, where you had to define the path forward.</li><li>Experience in a senior individual contributor Program/Project Management role.</li></ul><div><span>#LI-PD1</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b>Where you’ll be working/Location:</b></div><div><span>JumpCloud is committed to being Remote First, meaning that you are able to work remotely within the country noted in the Job Description.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><span><b>This role is remote in the country of India.
