Your Responsibilities

 

As a Software Tools Dev Engineer for JD Intelligent Solutions located in Torrance, CA, you will:

 

• Develop and implement tools to support analysis of GNSS StarFire Receivers.
• Support and implement Test Automation features for software test team.
• Diagnose and solve software defects.
• Analyze issues in a systematic, persistent, and thorough manner.
• Execute and support software engineering test and verification of John Deeres line of GNSS StarFire receivers.
• Understand GNSS concepts and fundamentals through tools development and automation work assignments.

What Skills You Need

 

• 2 or more year(s) of experience with Matlab, Python and C/C++
• 2 or more year(s) of experience with Web-design, HTML, CSS
• 2 or more year(s) of experience with Databases, SQL, and SQL server Tools
• 1 or more year(s) of experience with software development life cycle.
• 1 or more year(s) of experience in test execution and reporting/tracking software defects
• 2 or more year(s) of experience with GitHub, React JS, Node JS/NPM, MQTT, SQL, REST API
• Experience working in a team environment with cross-functional teams
• Strong software analytical skills; problem solving and conveying complex features/issues to engineers in other disciplines

 

What Makes You Standout

 

• Experience with cloud services AWS and Microsoft Azure DevOps
• Awareness of UI/UX principles
• Must have strong reporting/presentation skills
• Experience with Agile Development Methodology
• Strong Experience in Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

 

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

• Bachelors degree or higher, in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Computer Engineering
