Your Responsibilities

As an OFP Weld ME for JD Ottumwa Works located in Ottumwa, IA, you will:

Plans, coordinates, and performs manufacturing engineering work for a project or process.
Operates in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process

What Skills You Need

Background in Engineering (mechanical, weld, industrial)
Knowledge of manufacturing and or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities
Knowledge of engineering tools, systems and databases
Self motivator with the ability to execute a variety of tasks

What Makes You Standout

Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases.
Experience in project management and business planning
Experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual management tools
Experience in manufacutirng engineering supporting weld and assembly processes, quality, tooling, tool design, PLCs, robotic systems, facilities
Experience with robotic weld systems (Fanuc)

Education

Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
