You’ll deepen your expertise in our tools and models, lead monthly MD&amp;A discussions, and turn data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership. In this role, you’ll help shape process improvements and automation, support more junior analysts, and work across finance, operations, and IT in our fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.</span></div><h3>Duties and Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Perform comprehensive month-end close analysis (static/flexible budgets, sales-volume and mix variances), investigate root causes, and report findings.</li><li>Compile and present monthly MD&amp;A reports: analyze trends, explain variances, and build new ways of showing the business.</li><li>Define, monitor, and visualize KPIs—build interactive dashboards and share insights with department leaders.</li><li>Lead the annual budget process: set timelines, coordinate inputs across departments, and reconcile final numbers.</li><li>Own maintenance and continuous improvement of the five-year financial model.</li><li>Design and execute ad-hoc strategic analyses (ROI studies, scenario modeling, pricing/margin reviews) to support business decisions.</li><li>Partner with IT/BI teams to develop and automate complex reports and data pipelines.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements—standardize routines, automate manual tasks, and expand BI capabilities.</li><li>Collaborate with accounting, tax, pricing, and other cross-functional teams to deliver integrated financial insights.</li></ul><h3>Desired Credentials:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>2–6 years of progressive financial analysis experience (ideally in a high-growth or entrepreneurial setting).</li><li>Advanced financial modeling and analysis skills.</li><li>Deep understanding of accrual accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.</li><li>Expert-level Excel (lookups, pivots, complex formulas, etc).</li><li>Proven experience with financial and operational ERPs.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication—able to present findings to senior leaders.</li><li>Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced team and takes initiative on process improvements.</li><li>Knowledge of D365, Salesforce or aviation is a plus.</li></ul><div>At JSSI, we are committed to rewarding our team members with competitive and comprehensive compensation packages that reflect their contributions and talent.</div><div><br /></div><div>For this role, the annual base pay generally ranges from $75,000 to $80,000, with the final offer determined by variable factors including but not limited to market location, job-specific knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
