Reporting to the Lead People &amp; Culture Business Partner this role will be responsible for delivering strategic and operational support to managers across set areas of the business. The role will include working with employees and managers providing expertise, advice and management information on a full range of P&amp;C activities, whilst delivering against key initiatives to support the achievement of the P&amp;C strategy. The Senior P&amp;C Advisor will partner closely with the Lead P&amp;C Business Partner and Senior P&amp;C Business Partner, as well as the Centres of Excellence to provide consultation, research, and recommendations on varied P&amp;C topics.<ul><li>Provide support to the P&amp;C Business Partners team and ensue they are kept up to date with all importance matters.</li><li>Work in collaboration with the People Operations team to ensure people processes are adopted.</li><li>Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on future workforce needs, ensuring they are aligned with our Career Framework and Compensation structure.</li><li>Work closely with the People Operations and the P&amp;C Business Partner team to ensure regular reviews and updates of policies and procedures are managed effectively and in line with local legislations.</li><li>With a view to continuous improvement, make recommendations for enhancing our processes and practices.</li><li>Provide confidential advice, support and guidance in relation to all aspects of employment including contracts, absence, maternity, flexible working and restructures.</li><li>Manages employee welfare issues and involve Occupational Health were necessary.</li><li>Works with managers to drive a culture of high performing teams.</li><li>Actively contribute to the development of management skills and knowledge in managing the employment relationship.</li><li>Respond as appropriate to queries from employees and Managers, looping in relevant team</li><li>members as needed and as appropriate.</li><li>Write, compile and present information on a range of P&amp;C related topics where required.</li><li>Stay current on P&amp;C trends, legislations and best practices to support the team accordingly.</li><li>Research, draft and provide input on P&amp;C policies and procedures in partnership with P&amp;C Business Partners and People Operations.</li><li>Support compensation planning, job analysis, job descriptions and pay equity efforts led by the P&amp;C Business Partners.</li></ul> Employee Relations<ul><li>Investigating and resolving employee relations matters, identifying compliance risks and recommending solutions. This includes carrying out investigations, where appropriate, guiding and advising the manager during the hearing, taking appropriate notes and confirming the outcome.</li><li>Providing advice to line managers and employees on issues related to workplace or employee relations such as grievances, conduct, employee health and performance management.</li><li>Support managers in Disciplinary and Grievance hearings.</li><li>Support with DSARS and liaise with individuals when requests arise.</li><li>Provide support to P&amp;C Business Partners to ensure P&amp;C practices align with policies, our company culture and legal compliance across global locations.</li><li>Human Resources Information Systems and data</li><li>Work with the P&amp;C Business Partner team and People Operations team to ensure that all relevant P&amp;C data and records are up to date and compliant</li><li>Maintain and update the People Hub, so that our internal customers are well informed with ready access to information</li></ul>Ad-hoc Project Work<ul><li>Contribute to wider project work within the People and Culture team such as;</li><li>Employee Engagement Survey – Supporting the P&amp;CBP’s with action planning and tracking progress.</li><li>Performance Management process – supporting managers with queries relating to goal setting and providing statistical updates on progress.</li><li>Support the development of training to upskill people managers on P&amp;C topics as required in partnership with P&amp;CBPs and the Learning and Development function.</li></ul>Requirements <ul><li>CIPD Level 5</li><li>Excellent attention to detail</li><li>Good knowledge of employment law</li><li>A team player, able to work to deadlines and manage a varied and busy workload</li><li>Competent with Microsoft Office</li><li>Adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve issues in a timely manner</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and be highly collaborative with the ability to work in a complex matrix environment that spans international borders</li><li>Communicates clearly, both written and verbally with employees, members of the People &amp; Culture team, with the business and in group presentations and meetings.</li><li>Able to prioritise and plan work activities as to use time efficiently.</li><li>Organised, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.</li></ul>
