<p>Rosetta Stone, the experts in language learning with products that provide an immersive learning experience for 25 languages, is seeking Software Engineers. The ideal candidates will have a passion for technology and language learning and will help us add new features to our extremely successful Rosetta Stone products. <span>#LI-NF1</span></p> <p>This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.</p> <h4>WHAT YOULL BE DOING</h4> <ul> <li>Work with a team of talented engineers, both starting projects from scratch and also working within the existing code base<span> </span></li> <li>Build the back-end wiring, application logic, and UI for our products</li> <li>Provide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms and technologies for project implementations</li> <li>Collaborate and communicate clearly across multiple development teams to design and release amazing products</li> </ul> <h4>WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR</h4> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in software engineering</li> <li>Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline</li> <li>Excellent programming skills (e.g. Ruby/Go or Java)</li> <li>Strong communication, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Modern best practices in Javascript, HTML, and CSS</li> <li>Knowledge of AWS, MySQL, MongoDB, GraphQL/Node, React is a plus</li> <li>Passion for improving language learning through technology</li> </ul> <p><span><em>Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $116,000 to $150,000 + equity + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.
