<p>IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a QA Analyst focused on UI and front end testing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and education with an ability to work closely with our product managers and engineers to develop and execute test strategies for a variety of exciting new features. IXL is growing and we are hiring QA Analysts across several teams including Mobile Apps, IXL Web and Business Tools. <span>#LI-NF1</span></p> <p>This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.</p> <h4>WHAT YOULL BE DOING</h4> <ul> <li>Ensure quality on our front-end web applications with a strong focus on UI testing</li> <li>Review business requirements and develop test plans, test cases, test estimations, and test execution reports</li> <li>Perform functionality, regression, integration, UI, smoke, exploratory, stress and performance testing</li> <li>Manage all communications related to QA status on a daily basis and report potential risks during all stages of development lifecycle</li> <li>Work closely with development and product teams to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process</li> <li>Analyze test results and facilitate resolution of issues</li> <li>Iterate on existing testing processes and standards to improve efficiency and accuracy</li> </ul> <h4>WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR</h4> <ul> <li>BA/BS degree required</li> <li>Experience in QA of front end elements, web design, UI, and UX</li> <li>Ability to work both independently and on a wide variety of teams</li> <li>Passion for making bullet-proof applications and improving education through technology</li> <li>Self-motivated, detail oriented, proactive and collaborative</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Knowledge of JIRA, Unix, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, source control, and mobile device development is a plus</li> </ul> <p><em><span>Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $68,700 - $90,000 + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.
