<p>IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a full-time Product and Content Marketing Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play an essential role in the marketing of our flagship product, IXL, helping to lead and deliver the GTM strategy and execution for both new products/features and updates and working to ensure internal and external product marketing communications are executed smoothly. You will create a broad range of product marketing materials to support our customer-facing teams and also develop content marketing pieces to engage with our key audiences: educators, parents, and students. You’ll also manage a small team of product and content marketers. <span>#LI-GW1</span></p> <p>The ideal candidate is creative and strategic, proactive, a strong writer and communicator, organized, and passionate about IXL’s mission to impact education. </p> <p>This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.</p> <h4>WHAT YOULL BE DOING</h4> <ul> <li>Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and marketing plans for new product and feature launches, including messaging, positioning, and project management across multiple releases</li> <li>Project-manage GTM process for multiple product launches</li> <li>Write and develop marketing content, including but not limited to: messaging and positioning documents, emails, web copy, print collateral, blog posts, case studies, and more</li> <li>Develop and execute campaigns to deepen engagement with existing users and creatively reach new customers in collaboration with the Marketing team</li> <li>Work with colleagues from various teams, including product managers and graphic designers, to coordinate and implement projects from start to finish</li> <li>Work to ensure seamless communication flows between Product and Marketing, and between Marketing and customer-facing teams</li> <li>Assist with training our sales and customer-facing teams on product messaging and features so they can effectively communicate with customers</li> <li>Manage and mentor a team of 3 made up of one marketing associate and two senior marketing associates</li> </ul> <h4>WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR</h4> <ul> <li>BA/BS degree </li> <li>9+ years of brand marketing and/or integrated marketing experience, including 2–3 years managing and motivating high-performing teams</li> <li>Strategic thinker who can build short- and long-term plans, ask smart questions, and make thoughtful decisions that balance company goals, customer needs, and resources</li> <li>Strong communicator—both verbal and written—able to collaborate across teams, influence stakeholders, and craft clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences</li> <li>Proven operator who gets things done: detail- and deadline-oriented, organized, adaptable, and skilled at managing complex projects and creating efficient workflows</li> <li>Customer-focused, with deep empathy for educators, parents, and students and the ability to balance business outcomes with user outcomes</li> <li>Knowledge of, or interest in, education/edtech and the ability to learn quickly</li> </ul> <p><em><span>Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 to $175,000 + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.
