<p>IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a skilled illustrator and graphic designer to join our curriculum team. In this role, you will work closely with IXL curriculum designers to create engaging images for online learning materials. <span>#LI-REMOTE</span></p> <p><strong>This is a remote, 1099 consulting role for three months with a possible extension.</strong></p> <h4>WHAT YOULL BE DOING</h4> <ul> <li>Create visually appealing illustrations with a stylized, graphic-novel approach for Rosetta Stone’s Foundations product</li> <li>Maintain visual consistency and ensure adherence to style guidelines</li> <li>Effectively manage multiple illustration projects under tight deadlines</li> <li>Revise images based on feedback from curriculum designers</li> </ul> <h4>WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR</h4> <ul> <li>Strong craftsmanship and illustration skills with a keen eye for design</li> <li>The ability to create engaging, clean, <strong>raster</strong> images using a stylized, graphic-novel approach is a must</li> <li>The ability to create kid-friendly, flat vector artwork is a plus</li> <li>Experience as an illustrator/graphic designer for online content, preferably in an education-related field</li> <li>Proficiency with Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop (Illustrator is a plus)</li> <li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly through sketches, verbal communication, and written formats</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and strong organization skills</li> <li>Proven ability to manage multiple design requests efficiently and meet deadlines</li> <li>Experience sourcing and manipulating images from Shutterstock is a plus</li> <li>A degree in Illustration, Graphic Design, or a related field is a plus</li> </ul> <h4>WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR APPLICATION</h4> <ul> <li>Your resume</li> <li>A cover letter</li> <li>A link to your portfolio</li> </ul> <p><span><em>Candidates will be asked to complete their application by submitting a sample illustration.
