<p>IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an upbeat, focused, high-energy individual to join our Inside Sales team.  <span>#LI-RD1</span></p> <p>The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented and tenacious with a natural sales instinct. You will have experience working with technology and assisting customers. We are looking for a self-starter that will support our rapidly growing international customer base.</p> <p>This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week. The hours are 11-7 pm PT at least 4 days per week to be able to support customers in specific time zones.</p> <h4>WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING</h4> <ul> <li>Lead calls with international customers to identify customer needs and provide solutions through various IXL products </li> <li>Conduct cold outbound calls and qualify inbound sales leads to communicate IXL’s value proposition to new global users and to identify their requirements for the sales team </li> <li>Ensure the timely processing of international leads and assist with and support sales campaigns</li> <li>Manage your sales pipeline, identify growth opportunities and communicate clearly the progress of campaigns to the sales teams to ensure goal attainment</li> <li>Collaborate with Account Management to assist with the tracking and management of renewals and expansions from existing customers</li> <li>Conduct web application product demonstrations virtually using screen share technology</li> </ul> <h4>WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR</h4> <ul> <li>BA/BS degree</li> <li>1+ year of sales experience, preferably within the EdTech or software industry</li> <li>A high level of self-motivation, energy and drive to succeed</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively</li> <li>Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs</li> <li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail</li> <li>Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills</li> <li>Excellent verbal (video/telephone) and written communications skills</li> <li>Understanding of web applications</li> <li>Ability to accommodate various global time zones</li> <li>Passion for improving education through technology</li> <li>Salesforce.com is a plus </li> <li>Experience in the classroom or as a school or district administrator is a plus</li> </ul> <p><span><em><span>Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base hourly rate for this full-time position is $28 to $33 per hour + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay ranges for the position.
